The New Camping-Glamping!

We’ve come a long way from pitching a small tent and lighting a tiny fire in the middle of the wilderness!  There are all different styles of ‘camping’ from backpacking, to RV-ing, to staying at the Hilton.  (Some people call that camping, believe it or not!)

Although backpacking and staying in an RV are at either end of the spectrum, right in the middle is a new and exciting camping style, glamping!  Glamping, or glamorous camping, is taking it to the next level.  Want to get glamorous with camping?  Here are some ideas:

• Sleeping bag side table with a vase of fresh wild flowers.
• Bringing a fancy candelabra for your camp table
• Pack gourmet picnic items.  Fun wine and cheese!
• Items to make a fancy patio.  Lights, banners and outdoor rugs.
